SEQUOIA ROGERS
CHEER COACH

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sequoia cheered for three years
in high school and helped coach a junior high cheer squad for two
years.  After graduating from Berkeley, she continued her coaching
career as a moderator, choreographer, and coach for both a youth
and middle school squad.  When she took over the new teams,
she overhauled the program to include a competitive team, in
addition to the squad’s duties of cheering for football, volleyball,
and basketball.  In her six years with the teams, she led the
competitive squad to several state and national titles.  Now a
member of the BCA coaching staff, she is excited to be working in
the thrilling world of All-Star cheerleading.  She believes that every
athlete is capable of achieving her goals if she works hard and
has a “never give up” attitude.
